Annual Report on Lifelong Learning Strategy Registers Progress in Career Orientation of Schoolchildren and Adults

2015 report on the National Strategy on Lifelong Learning (2014-2020) registers positive changes in terms of the system for career development of schoolchildren and adults, the press office of the Bulgarian Government announced.
The document, which contains information about the information on the implementation of the activities and tasks provided under the 2015 Action Plan on the strategy, has been officially approved by the cabinet.
According to the report, the number of schoolchildren in junior high school stage has increased with 12% compared with 2014. Most of them – 75.3%, are enrolled in different programmes for acquisition of a professional qualification degree.
The most active group, on the other hand, is of people aged between 25 and 34, and their number is constantly increasing. The representation of people aged over 45 is still slight.
