The economic growth prospects for 2018 remain positive, MP Aleksandar Ivanov (Citizens for European Development of Bulgaria (CEDB/GERB) told Focus Radio. Bulgaria was ranked 4th for economic growth in Europe, he recalled adding that he forecasts a balanced 2018 budget with a minimum budget deficit. Thanks to the efforts of Boyko Borisov cabinets there is growth of economy and the funds that enter the budget allowing for an increase in other expenses - pensions, salaries of teachers, the police and the army. “The economy and the working people show that we can be optimistic, as mentioning that exports have grown for the first eight months compared to 2016, I am convinced that this trend will continue,” he said.
