Road Agency: 12 Bidders for the Construction of Another 17 km of Road I-8 between Dragoman and Slivnitsa

Twelve bidders have submitted their offers for for modernization of Road I-8, the section between Kalotina border checkpoint and Slivnitsa, with a total length of 16,98 km. The estimated value of the projects is 117 million levs, VAT excluded and will be funded from the state budget, said the press office of the Road Infrastructure Agency.
The project envisages widening of the existing road, thus turning the two-lane first-class road into a four-lane one. In some sections the geometric elements will be improved to achieve a design speed of 110 km/h.
