Postbank has won a prestigious international award in the Excellence in Customer Centricity/Customer Experience category. The financial institution is one of the winners in the 12 categories in the intense contest Retail Banking: Europe 2019 Awards, organized by the leading European magazine covering retail banking. One of the biggest, most stable and well-established banks in Europe are among the participants and winners in the contest – Santander, Danske Bank, Nordea, BBVA, Raiffeisen Bank International, OTP.
The award is a recognition of Postbank’s high results and work optimization, which has resulted from the bank’s innovative way of confirming payment documents with an e-signature. Being a modern bank with an environmental conservation and customer care policies, Postbank is among the first lenders on the Bulgarian market, which has introduced document signing with a digital signature in its entire branch network.

We are glad 57% of all transactions via the bank are digitally signed. Thanks to our digital services, we have reduced our paper costs by 43%, logistics costs – by 30% and customer service time – by 12%. This way, we save time of both our clients and team. The award ceremony gathered over 200 managers of international financial institutions, leading banks, representatives of fintech companies, influencers in the sector, senior managers and tech sub-contractors. They discussed the trends in the financial industry, the new opportunities in the sector, the challenges financial institutions are facing in their transition to the next phase of digital banking.
