Bulgaria's Sofiyska Voda opens tender for 9.7 mln euro emergency repairs contract
03 12 2019The water utility company serving the Bulgarian capital Sofia - Sofiyska Voda, said on Monday that it has opened an 18.9 million levs ($10.6 million/9.7 million euro) tender for a 28-month contract for emergency maintenance of the city's sewage network.The contractor will be obliged to provide 24-hour emergency maintenance services, Sofiyska Voda said in a tender notice.The deadline for submitting offers is January 6.Bids will be ranked solely based on price.Sofiyska Voda was established in October 2000 under a 25-year concession contract for the operation and maintenance of Sofia's water supply and sewerage system. France's Veolia Water owns 77.1% of the company's capital, while the Sofia municipality holds a stake of 22.9%, according to data from Sofiyska Voda's website.
