HBCB Business to Business Meeting: Lessons learned from the crisis – Management Challenges

On December 2nd, 2014 HBCB and EASE - the Association of the Chief Executive Officers in Greece announced the partnership between the two organisations. This happened during the event Lessons learned from the crisis – Management Challenges at Sofia Hotel Balkan. More than 80 HBCB members and friends attended the seminar.
After the welcoming words of HBCB Executive Director Mr. Minko Gerdjikov, Mr. Stamatios Theodoropoulos, Chairman of the Hellenic Business Council in Bulgaria made an opening speech, underlining the mutual benefit and added value of the cooperation between HBCB and EASE. He also thanked the representatives of EASE – Greece as well as Mr. Theodoros Polydoros, CEO of ICAP Bulgaria, for making the cooperation happen.
Mr. Nikitas Konstantellos – Chairman of EASE opened the presentations’ panel. He introduced the audience to the values of the organization – its goals and missions as well as the prospects of the cooperation with HBCB.
Mr. Apostolos Petalas, CEO of FOURLIS Group, made a presentation on the role of the CEO in creating culture in each organization.
In the last presentation of the night Mr. Nikitas Konstantellos explained the situation on the Greek labor market and the opportunities in a recovering market. He also showed interesting statistics on the opinions of Greek leading companies’ CEOs.
After the presentations the guests of the event continued networking and discussing on interesting topics at the cocktail reception provided by Sofia Hotel Balkan.
