WELCOME TO THE HELLENIC BUSINESS COUNCIL IN BULGARIA!

The Hellenic Business Council in Bulgaria was formed for the purpose of promoting and strengthening the economic and cultural ties between Bulgaria and Greece. The main purpose of the Hellenic-Bulgarian Business Council is to encourage mutual dialogue between key government and business figures in a way that encourages progressive economic policies in the two countries.The Hellenic Business Council in Bulgaria is a private, non-government, non-profit organization founded in 2005, which offers its own network of contacts, mutual assistance and information exchange. It represents the interests of its members and assumes the role of accelerating the trade and investment between Bulgaria and Greece.

Information Workshop on the Operational Programme Competitiveness
On June 21, 2010, in Sheraton Sofia Hotel Balkan, HBCB in collaboration with the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry organized an event under the title "European Regional Development Fund" and the Funding Opportunities for Bulgarian Businesses 2007-2013". More than 150 peoples were attracted by the topics and the useful information, presented by the speakers, including were the Ambassador of Greece in Bulgaria, H.E. Mrs. Danae-Madeleine Koumanakou, Mr. Petros Efthimiou, Member of the Hellenic Parliament and representatives of the nongovernmental sector, HBCB members and friends.

Situational Leadership training finalized
On June 9-10, Blanchard International Bulgaria in collaboration with HBCB organized training in Situational Leadership®II (SLII®). Facilitator was Mr. Spiros Paolinelis, Master Trainer, Blanchard International Group Hellas. Managers from Dromeas, Eko Bulgaria, Intracom, Marsh, Postbank, and Zlatna Panega Cement took part in the training and got the opportunity to develop their managerial and leadership potential.
