Bulgaria May Go for New Nuclear Reactor in Kozloduy
Bulgaria's Minister of Economy, Energy, and Tourism, Traycho Traykov, has stated that the government is very likely to go for building a new reactor at the Kozloduy Nuclear Power Plant. The Borisov Cabinet was working on preliminary assessments of the necessity, capacity, and economic feasibility of a new reactor at Kozloduy, Traykov said in an interview for Reuters quoted by the Bulgarian media.

Bulgaria Agriculture Minister Miroslav Naydenov has announced on Thursday that there was no danger of EU funding under the Program for Rural Development being stopped. In saying this, he has contradicted his statement one day earlier that, because of violation of the previous leadership of the Agriculture Fund, Bulgaria could lose money under the program.
