Cabinet Expects up to 10 Mln Lv from Active Management of Deposit
The expected positive effect from the active management of the Government's deposit is additional revenues of up to 10 million leva, according to Deputy Finance Minister Ana Mihailova as quoted by a press release of the Finance Ministry.
EC Extends Deadline for Bulgaria Schengen Contracts
The European Commission has extended the deadline for Bulgaria to sign contracts in preparation for joining the Schengen Area in March 2011. The decision was announced in a letter from EC President Jose Manuel Barroso to Bulgaria PM Boyko Borisov.
Bulgaria's National Electricity Company (NEK) has appointed a new executive director - Krasimir Parvanov. He replaces current executive director Georgi Mihov in the top position. Parvanov moves from his present position as head of the Directorate for Access and Network Development at CEZ Distribution, NEK has announced on Monday.
